Let's Green Clean!

Growing up in a green household all my adolescent life, organic and natural house hold products are not something new to me. However in my young adulthood I began to gravitate towards the toxic house hold name cleaning agents, due to it easy accessibility and in-expensive price point. The price was most certainly right with the previously mentioned cleaning products, that was about the only thing right about them. Truth is those products are riddled with chemical compounds unsafe for you, your family (including your furry friend), and the environment. Irritating your lungs, and epidermis as well as being a major negative on the earths Air Quality.

Now with all this being said, I wanted a house hold cleaner that would cut back on landfill waste, benefit my family, the environment as well as my wallet. So I created an All purpose cleaner recipe that is super easy to make and with these trying times will double as a disinfectant. All you need is a re-usable Amber glass spay bottle (pictured above) essential oils I used Orange and a few house hold pantry items, and you are ready to rock and roll.. or should I say spray and wipe! Hope ya'll enjoy this All purpose cleaner as much as I do!

What you'll need:

14 Oz Amber Color Sprayed Bottle

( the amber helps keep the essential oils from going rancid)

10 Oz Natural White Distilled Vinegar

1 Large Organic Navel Orange (just the peels)

2 Oz Grain Alcohol

Therapeutic Grade Essentials Oils

>30 drops Orange Essential Oil (Sweet sent, and natural adhesive remover)

>7 drops Pine (Disinfectant properties)

>10 drops Frankincense (antimicrobial & immunosupportive properties)

Recipe:

Peel Orange and Place peels in 10 Oz Container

Submerge Orange Peels with White Vinegar cover and set aside in a dark place

Let Oranges Ferment for 7-8 Days

Once Vinegar is ready strain and Funnel vinegar into your Amber Spray Bottle

Funnel in your Grain Alchohol and Essential Oils into Spray Bottle

Add more or less Essential Oil if the Scent is to strong/or mild

Top Bottle with Filtered Water Cap and Shake

Now your cleaner is all ready to use, Happy Cleaning & Enjoy!

Pro-tip: to cut back on additional waste and get a streak free clean every time trade in your paper towels for a washer safe microfiber cloth!
